These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tales Roastery website and the purchase of any products offered through it (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Tales Roastery ("Tales Roastery", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order. By placing an order you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorized to use the payment method supplied.
We roast specialty coffee in small batches, and many of our products are roasted to order. We make reasonable efforts to display products, descriptions, and pricing accurately, but we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free. Because coffee is an agricultural product, flavor notes, roast characteristics, and availability may vary between batches. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue any product, or correct errors at any time without prior notice.
Your submission of an order constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. After you place an order you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging that we have received it; this confirmation does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where a product is unavailable, where there is an error in pricing or product information, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.
All prices are listed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and, where applicable, include VAT. Shipping fees are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your location and order. Payment must be completed using one of the methods offered at checkout (such as InstaPay). For orders requiring payment confirmation, we begin processing only once payment has been received and verified. We reserve the right to cancel orders for which payment is not confirmed within a reasonable period.
We aim to dispatch orders promptly after payment is confirmed. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, as they depend on the courier and your location. Risk of loss passes to you once the order has been handed to the carrier. Please ensure your shipping address and contact details are correct; we are not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from inaccurate information.
Returns and refunds are governed by our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
All content on the website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the Tales Roastery name and branding — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or to use automated means to access the website in a manner that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tales Roastery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or the purchase or consumption of our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
